Distance agreement

The seller of the goods offered in this online shop SIA KANIKA reg. no 40203532236 on the one hand, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other hand, enter into the following Agreement:

The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver to the Buyer the Goods in accordance with the Buyer's order.

1. Delivery and payment arrangements

The Buyer orders the goods through this website, specifying the type and quantity of goods to be ordered. The Buyer has the possibility to pay for the goods using the payment tools integrated in the Online Shop.

The Seller shall ensure delivery of the goods within 7 days of receipt of payment for the goods. The Buyer shall choose the method of collection or delivery of the goods by placing an order and paying for it.

2. Right of withdrawal and refund

If the order is not paid for within 2 working days, the Seller has the right to consider that the order has been cancelled.

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the Goods within 14 calendar days from the receipt of the Goods or immediately after payment of the order, by sending a letter of withdrawal to the Seller by e-mail info@kanika.lv. The cancellation letter must specify the order number and the customer's email address registered at the time of ordering. The Seller will reply within two working days with a cancellation form, which the Customer must complete within 5 calendar days of the date of dispatch. The Buyer is obliged to return the goods to the Seller within 7 days of the cancellation letter being sent. Any costs incurred in returning the goods to the Seller shall be borne by the Buyer.

Refunds will only be refunded to the same account from which the order was paid.

3. the Buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if:

Goods ordered cannot be returned once they have been opened;
The goods ordered are damaged and are not in their original condition;
The goods ordered are sent directly to the Buyer on a custom-made basis;
Section 12(6) of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia states that "the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the period of exercising the right of withdrawal".

The Seller reserves the right to refuse the Buyer to exercise the right of withdrawal or to withhold the refund fee in the event that the goods are damaged by negligent handling or failure to follow the instructions during use, or if the packaging is substantially damaged.

4. Exchange of goods

You can exchange the purchased item for an identical one if it is confirmed that the delivered item was defective. In this case, the costs shall be borne by the Seller. If the Buyer changes his mind and wishes to exchange the goods for another, the Buyer shall bear the costs of delivery of the exchange.

5. Data processing

By entering the necessary information and placing an order, the Buyer confirms that he/she is familiar with and agrees that the data provided by him/her shall be used to enable the Seller to accept the Buyer's order and deliver the goods in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Latvia. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees to receive notifications related to the processing of the Buyer's order to the e-mail address provided.
