Adventure on Kami’s Island offers six new Leader cards, the most prominent of which is Enel, the cruel self-appointed god of Skypiea. As the arc’s primary antagonist, Enel also gets an alternate rare version for his leader card, as well as the set’s one super alternate rare for his character form, which instantly became the expansion’s most valuable card. Enel’s counterpart and challenger in the story is none other than Monkey D. Luffy himself, who is similarly graced with a new leader card featuring the Sky Island trait, including a splashy alternate art one, and additionally receives the same alternate rare treatment as Enel for his new character card – except in his case, it’s a less rare and chased-upon one.
The other new leaders span a broader range of story arcs, with familiar faces such as the unscrupulous Admiral Krieg from the Baratie Arc; the event-based “Lucy” from the Dressrosa Arc (he’s actually Sabo disguised, as the alternate art reveals); Brook, the Straw Hat Crew’s skeletal musician; and princess Rebecca, also from the events of the Dressrosa Arc.
Key characters from the Skypiea Arc that are present in the set are the knightly god Gan Fall, the berserker Wyper, and local girl Conis. The expansion’s second most valuable card, after super alt-art Enel, is Koby from the Extra Booster section. Adventure on Kami’s Island also features two new manga-style alternate art Event cards, Lighting Dragon and Gum-Gum Golden Rifle.
